TODAY'S THE DAY...(DAY # 8 IN DONETSK)
We have court in about an hour. We just found out it's the judge's birthday today so hopefully she'll be in a great mood and will have no problem waiving the 30 day wait so Aubree can come home with us. We are almost positive she will waive it. I can't believe in a couples hours she will officially be ours!!
We had a great morning visit with Aubree today. She was in a great mood and her cold seems to be going away! She was laughing and walking around all over. And get ready for this you criers out there...Aubree went up to Dave, touched his face and said, "DaDa!". It was wonderful. She is so adorable!
Well, the next time we post The D'Amico Family will officially be a family of four! We are so excited to have our two girls now and to have our family complete. What a great feeling!
We will be in touch soon. We hope all is well with our friends and family back home.

Presently in Chicago it is around 8am. I think you guys are 8 hours ahead thus, 4pm where you are and I pray all has gone well. We are all waiting for the "family of four" posting. WMI & WSM

Oh my gosh i am becoming dave. i was crying like a baby just thinking of aubree touching dave's face. we are praying that the court hearing goes well and you guys can be on a plane next week coming home. nikki and brenna are on their way to our house. i can't wait to talk to brenna in person, she is soooo excited. dad is doing good. he is going to start physical therapy today. talk to you soon. love - mom
Ok you two-its bad enought that I get up every mornign and rush to the computer before I even so much as stop in the potty-but know you start my day off all mushy and emotional. I even had to wake Bob up to tell him about Aubree. Talked to Jeremy this morning to see if you guys had called after your court date but he hadn't heard anything yet. We hope you are already on the dreaded train ride back to Kiev!!! Cant wait to hear from you guys!!!!Julie
It's A great Day and we are so very happy for you guys!! We hope and pray that everything went well in court and you have started your journey. i just had to find a computer today to check the news.. that is so amazing it gave me chills to think of how wonderful it must have felt when she said dada i am so happy for u guys hopefully things will go well-angel
